If you read my Imbolc 2023 newsletter you met my stalwart crew, the Expanded Garret Gang as we sometimes call ourselves, though none live anymore in Calhoun where the original Garret stood and some of us never did.
We’re here to answer any questions you may want to post in the Community Forum.
Now I’d like to introduce another friend who’s spent so much time with us this past year we’ve begun to consider her part of the Gang as well.
Turningtide describes herself as “that paradoxical creature, an Urban Witch making do the best I can amid all the noise and waste, trying to connect with Nature through weekend forays to the mountains or beach…” Chuck and Cissy met her a couple of summers ago kayaking at a nearby state park, bonded with her immediately, and invited her to come visit. She’s since made the Ravenstead her favorite getaway spot, become a dedicated Associate, and hopes to share tips and tricks in the Posts for urban survival and sanity like Building A Magical Refuge she’s half-jokingly offered as her “price of admission”.
